Open Squares Weekend London 12 June

Karen and I had a fun day visiting several gardens and squares in the West End of London for Open Squares weekend sponsored by Transport for London. We visited the garden of apartment 1A at Kensington Palace where Princess Margaret lived-it is a very tranquil space with an attractive Trompe l'oeil archway along the back wall. Much of the garden was planted up by Roddy Llewellyn, Margaret's partner. We also visited the gardens and courtyards known as Abbey Green at Westminster Abbey. All these lovely gardens are very well maintained as can be seen from these images.
